Elders and Deacons

It follows that given these current and historical mandates, a primary responsibility of active ruling elders is to provide for the mission and ministry of the deacons as they lead the congregation, including the session, in blessing the communities in which the church lives.

Our Elders

Neal Cross, Clerk of Session, Ike Hull, Treasurer, Rene Gorbold, Steve Armstead, Karen Smith, Steve Meyer,

As Elders, we take to heart that we are ordained to this position and foster spiritual leadership. We are proud that we focus on taking the church and mission into our community. As elders we nurture a spiritual and caring community by creating a spiritual presence. We feel it is important to respond to community crisis which we also see as modeling ministry.

Our Deacons

Melody Anders, Brook Mark

The office of deacon as set forth in Scripture is one of sympathy, witness, and service after the example of Jesus Christ.
